Electrode merchandise gets its own entry because Electrode is the most significant Pokemon in the world. But what does THIS have to do with Electrode?

Random unorganized Pokemon stuff post GO!!! Starting with this set of Eevee candy toy figures. I have actually amassed an embarrassing amount of Eevee stuff during their merchandise explosion over the past couple of years, but few pictures have been taken. Here's one, though. I loooove this figure set.

I'm not the biggest TCG enthusiast, but when it comes to my favorite Pokemon and characters, I'll of course want to snap up all their cards! I limit my TCG collection to Japanese cards of my top 3 favorite Pokemon, but I'll gladly throw in other cards as well if I get the opportunity. I store my card collection in my handy dandy Battle Frontier binder I've probably shown off before.

So the reason why I haven't posted Pokemon stuff for so long is that I've simply had too much to go through and it's been a little overwhelming!! So I'm deciding to just screw order and neatness and just post Pokemon stuff as I feel like it! The stuff I'm presenting you with in this entry, was all bought on the X and Y release day at the Pokemon Center. The pictures are from way back then also, I just never got around to make an entry for them! FORGIVE!!!

So let's jump right in and start with the life-sized Chespin plush!

YEAH, I went to the Pokemon Center on October 12th! It was super crowded, but totally worth it, and I think I managed to snap some nice pictures.

OK, so before we dive into X and Y, there is one last Pokemon update I'd like to do. Before X and Y were released, the Pokemon Centers did a little promotion featuring a seemingly random selection of Pokemon cutely poking their heads and hands out from little bags. Super cute! One of the Pokemon featured was Banette, one of my favorites! Yay!!

Anticlimactically starting with the star of the promotion, the Banette plush mascot! Despite being THE plush toy Pokemon, Banette has not had very many made, so this was a welcome addition.

We're just about to close the curtains on the fifth generation of Pokemon that gave us such wonderful treasures as Timburr, Golurk and Garbodor. But before we throw ourselves and our money at generation six, let's have a look at the last Timburr toys of the generation!!

This cutiepie is the Timburr MPC. I had to wait so long for Banpresto to release this guy! He was in the last Black/White MPC set!!! But he's here and he's cute and he was worth the wait.

I've always been a pretty big fan of POKEMON BATTLE PENCILS because the concept is so silly and the commercial for it back in the Diamond/Pearl era was so over-the-top. They're pencils. Yet we're supposed to believe they're totally X-TREEEEEEME. I've seen a Voltorb pencil around several times, but it was not until I was face to face with an auction for one that I became aware of the existence of an ELECTRODE pencil!

Apologies for the long picture, but this beauty needs to be fully observed.

Yo, remember back in the day when I would paint Electrode faces on gashapon capsules? Turns out there's an official version in existence! I was made aware of this a couple of years ago when a friend linked me to the Voltorb version. Rather than jumping on it and doing research right away, I think I just bookmarked it and set it aside for later? So when I finally felt like doing some research, the auction link had expired, so I was kind of at a loss of what to do. The gashapon balls contained some soft fuzzy Pokemon figures, so I figured I could search for those. I had no luck with that, but one fateful day another friend just up and linked me to an auction lot containing the Electrode gashapon ball! W O W ! ! !

And here it is... the most primitive official Electrode toy in existence. It is so, so beautiful.

Tonight we're going to have a look at the most adorable Charmander plush you could possibly imagine! She is from the same Kyun Chara series of Ichiban Kuji lottery goods as that Snivy figure I reviewed last week.

So Ichiban Kuji recently held lotteries for their new line of "Kyun Chara" Pokemon toys! Kyun Charas are basically just very super deformed and cute figures and stuff. I'd like to introduce you to their Snivy figure.

So Takara Tomy just came out with the cuuuutest little series of Pokemon toys, PitaPoke! 'Pita' appears to just be a suction cup sound effect; the gimmick of figures and their accessories* is that they each have a little suction cup for maximum funtimes!

My first Pokemon update of the year is a pretty dang awesome one! I technically received this package on December 31st, but shh. What we have here are two of the latest Waza Museum figures, Timburr and Garbodor! And boy oh boy are they amazing.

Let's begin the miscellaneous Pokemon stuff post with Torchic since there was already a sneak peak of sorts in the Meloetta post! Torchic was one of the Pokemon featured in the Meloetta short film, which explains its small slew of new merchandise. This is a Pokedoll figure I won in the 711 lottery Ichiban Kuji. The Pokedoll figures were the last price and you got to choose which one you wanted, to I played the lottery hoping to get the last price, heheh.

Virizion is the other Pokemon that particularly caught my fancy on my Japan trip. She was always my favorite out of the trio of legendary sword-wielding deer-like creatures, but in the movie she SPOKE to me directly to my HEART.

Whew, looks like I FINALLY found some time and motivation to post the rest of the haul I bought in Japan... in... July...

...THIS is Meloetta!! A NEW new Pokemon that starred in a movie short. I fell for her completely. I'm particularly fond of the part Fighting type Step Forme, but Voice Forme to the right is darling too.
