MORNING GLORY

As I said earlier, the My Little Pony special "The End of Flutter Valley" was my favorite thing in the world for quite a while during my childhood. Because of this I always wanted a flutter pony of my own, but never managed to get one because I was too young, possibly not even born, when they were sold in stores. I remember taping clear plastic bag cut-outs to my earth ponies at some point to make my own.


Just about two decades later, here I am with my very own Morning Glory! She was the main flutter pony character in the special, and one of my favorites.


To those not in the know, original flutter pony wings were incredibly fragile, and as a result, finding one complete with her wings these days is really freaking hard. I got Morning Glory's replica wings on ebay.


The wings look kind of awkwardly positioned, but I'm sure I did it correctly as I checked many pictures of MIB flutter ponies.


She's adorable either way!

She really isn't much larger than the baby ponies.


I styled her bangs myself!! 'Cause if you haven't gathered, I really freaking love bangs

She has really long legs!


There were six flutter ponies in the special, but only three of them had personalities, so I don't have any plans to collect the full set AT THE MOMENT.

Aww, little ponies! :D The End of Flutter Valley was my favourite, too (but gosh, Finnish dub is awful). I'm so sad my mom sold my pony collection when I was like 10 and she thought I didn't need them anymore. 8C

Anyways, yay for Morning Glory! She looks adorable, and gotta love those wings!

Do you happen to remember where you got those wings? I made custom wings for my own Morning Glory, cause they where indeed to delicate to survive playing and living in an attic, but these look so much prettier ;)

I have her combined with my baby Lickety Split :)
