Hey, toy fans! I'm back in Japan for a while. Before I dive into the toy adventures I'm having here, I need to post some stuff I photographed before I left! It won't take long. I... hope...

First of all, in celebration of my favorite Medabot, Cyandog, getting a brand new figure release in a few months, I decided to take some pictures of my favorite Medabot figures.

This is a fairly big Cyandog figure. I bought him nine years ago and have long since lost his packaging, but after some quick research online I figured out he's from a series of figures by Hasbro simply titled "Medabots". These figures were obviously made for the non-Japan market. I bought my Cyandog (and the rest of my Medabots toys at the time) in Spain.

He has yellow "eyes" instead of green, and I had to paint on the nose myself, but he looks quite handsome.

Profile and back. The unsightly pegs on his back are there for his useless ACTION!!! feature.

You push the pegs and his arms move up a little. Like, wow.

His arms can be moved by simply... moving them... too, but they'll only stay in certain positions.

Like this.

The big unsightly barrels of his guns are there for housing long big red peg "bullets" he came with. I still have them lying around somewhere, but couldn't be bothered to go look for them. When you push the silver tabs on his arms, he'd shoot them out.

His knees are poseable, but there isn't really much that can be done with them when the rest of his legs aren't.

Like he can do girl-style push-ups I guess??

Do the monkey. Heh heh heh. Get it??

He came with his monkey medal! It's probably lifesize so it doesn't go in his back or anything.

Peppercat here came from the same figure series. The proportions of the two are very different though. Peppercat definitely looks better and much less bulky and awkward. That's not to say I don't love this Cyandog though because I do! Bulky and awkward suits him!!

This is really a fantastic figure. It's too bad she's gotten some paint scratches here and there over time. I must have bought this Peppercat in the same year as Cyandog, or maybe the year after.

Her fingers are a little bent out of shape, but should be easily fixed.

Her tail is poseable!

She has the same holes in her arms as Cyandog, but her "bullets" were big blue balls of lightning.

Back.

It takes some strength, but their arms and heads are removable.

Boy and girl Medabot parts are not supposed to be interchangable, but Hasbro doesn't care and neither do I.

But I really prefer them with their own parts.

Moving on, we here have the little Cyandog action figure! Released by Hasbro overseas, this figure was originally released by Takara in Japan. My Cyandog is the international release. I could not find any single packed Cyandogs so I had to buy a big stupid stadium playset to get him.

Worth it? Definitely. He's super cute.

With his pal Totalizer! I am very sad that I to this day have no idea how to romanize Totalizer's Japanese name.

These figures also have swappable parts.

With the mysterious "Magentacat". This is as close as you'll get to have a matching trio of Screws Medabot figures.

Or you can swap Magentacat out with the little Peppercat capsule figure.

This sort of works too...?

Or if you prefer to just have a tiny Totalizer.

My second favorite Medabot is actually Landmotor. I have no idea why. IT'S SO RANDOM!!!!

He's just a funny little guy with cool platform shoes.

My OTHER Landmotor figure!! It's so cute and SD-y!!

Hey, I have a Cyandog like this too. He is the cutest little Cyandog. Back to Cyandog!!!

I should paint his tongue red at some point. But he's very cute the way he is.

And who could forget these super special tiny figures from some country I don't remember?! I DO remember that the auction said they came as special little bonuses with some kind of chocolate though. They are so special. This is the only Krosserdog/Bluesdog figure I know to exist!

Cyandog actually looks pretty decent.

Next we have smooshface Cyandog keychain!! He is so cute!

There's a Magentacat here too, huh.

So that's my Cyandog collection! They eagerly await their new member.

Goodbye... for now.
