GUYS I am having so much fun playing with pony hair! I use the boiling water method to keep the styles I want in place, and for Fluttershy here, her own legs as hair curlers.

Mar. 6th, 2011 06:12 pmOkay, the only question that seems to repeat itself over and over is stuff like "Where did you get ___?" so for now, that's what I'm going to answer. More might be added later if I think of anything or people ask or whatever...
Where did you get your Digimon toys?
Digimon Adventure and Tamers are old cartoons whose toys are no longer being produced, so you can't really find them in stores anymore, online or offline. Therefore, I get most of my Digimon toys by searching for Digimon on Ebay and Yahoo! Japan Auctions. Depending on how rare the item you're after is, you might have to regularly search the auction sites for months before it shows up, so don't be shocked or discouraged if you can't find the item listed anywhere on your first try. Patience is the key.
Where did you get your Pokemon toys?
I still use Ebay and Yahoo! Japan for older toys and some newer, newer toys can also be found in online stores like Sunyshore and Pokevault. There's alsopkmncollectors, of course!
Where did you get your miscellaneous cartoon/videogame toys?
Ebay and Yahoo! Japan again if the cartoon/game in question is old and/or not available in my country. You can get most things there, really. At least if you have patience!
How do you bid on Japanese auctions/use proxy sites?
There are tons of proxy sites out there. The ones I have used are Rinkya, Shopping Mall Japan and Japonica Market. I am not going to teach you how to use proxy services - nobody taught me, I simply read the rules and guidelines and asked the staff when I had questions. You can do the same!
Could you notify me if you find another ___?
Sorry, but no. I have way too many daily searches to do for myself, so I won't have time to keep track of other people's as well! So please, do your own searching.
Can I buy your ___?
As of 2014, I no longer do sales. It's just way too much trouble for way too little gain for me, not to mention that I can't get insured shipping of any kind for less than like a hundred dollars in my country. Most of the unsold toys from my old sales posts have been donated.
All right! That was incredibly negative! Oh well! I'm not running a service site here so you're just gonna have to deal!!
