MONSTER HIGH STUFF

I snuck in Chewlian the venus flytrap in an earlier post, but now I think I have enough Monster High things to make a whole entry about it. I'm not really a Monster High fan. The line has potential, but very few of the dolls actually look like monsters. The line promotes flaws and differences, but all the characters are beautiful and have the same body shape. Their monster features are minimal; the Frankenstein's monster doll has a few cute stitches here and there and teeny tiny neck bolts, the werewolf dolls are basically humans with tiny wolf ears and fangs. The zombies are just gray humans, the mummy simply dresses in bandage-patterned clothes, and the abominable snowman is a glittery blue girl with beautiful multi-colored hair.

I COULD GO ON AND ON AND ON!!!

But that said, I certainly like looking at the Monster High line, as it's pretty creative in its own right. A couple of them appealed to me enough to purchase. I think what appeals to me the most, however, are the little pet figures.
