dreamshelfMy preorder for Pokemon Pearl has been shipped out, and I got some D/P 1/40 figures today. Hooray!
While I prefer the penguins, I also love the other two starter lines. The Hikozaru line is like the Torchic line only with monkeys! Swell.
Roselia, one of my top six favorites! I'm not very happy about it getting an entire evolution line because I like them there Pokemon that don't evolve, but eh. Roserade and Subomie are okay Pokemon on their own - Roserade even looks like a HERO with its cape and mask!
You already know how much I dig Mimirol. I'm also quite fond of Mimilop, its evolution! It looks very much like a real lop-eared rabbit, with its split head and all. You can't see it in this picture, SORRY!!
You guys already know Elekible! Here it is with its evolution line. Nice beauty mark, by the way. The Pokemon creators seem to be VERY fond of its 'one arm outstretched' pose.
SUMILIDON AND WEEDPUPPY!!! And Eevee too, I guess. The 'elegant quadruped' Pokemon usually end up on my least favorite list, but not this time! Glacia looks so much like Sumilidon from Medabots, and Leafia is some kind of awesome little plant doggy.
The obligatory legendary spotlight stealer, heeere's Dialga! Not really one of my favorites, but eh. Its facial lines amuse me, it looks like some kind of baboon! Electrode 'n Voltorb popped in for a size comparison.
Sumilidon: Wow, it's like looking into a mirror!
Glacia: I KNOW! Why don't we switch places just like in that Prince and the Pinhead story?
Sumilidon: OKAY!!!
Weedpuppy: You're late, Glacia! We've been waiting for you!
Sumilidon: Cool.
Koji: Oh there you are, Sumilidon. Come on, we're almost late for our Robattle against Zombie Ikki!
