In one of my previous Pokemon entries, you may have noticed a certain woodland creature being pummeled by Regigigas. Today we'll take a closer look at this deer and his little animal chums! They all come with their own little stories that I spent all last night translating.

SO LIKE, everyone in the forest are chums! During the ever-changing seasons, what kind of stories do they have to tell?

CHAPTER ONE!!! It's spring and stuff! Mr. Bird drops by from far away. CHEEP CHEEP! He's all "I'm supposed to deliver this letter somewhere around here, but it doesn't have an address. Would YOU happen to know?" So the Frog's all like "I'll try asking everyone with my.. nasal.. voice.." and started going all croak-y.

CHAPTER TWO!!! Squirrel drops by Piglet, and Piglet asks what's with the letter. So Squirrel's all "This is an important letter Mr. Bird dropped!" Then there's a sentence I don't quite get... afterwards, Squirrel runs off with the important letter and hides it somewhere along with his nuts. Then he forgets where he hid it. Nice job, Squirrel.

CHAPTER THREE!!! The Ducklings heard Frog's voice. It starts to rain, and they've strayed away from their ma. "Mr. Donkey, ma isn't here!" GAA-GAA. "Mr. Donkey, we're looking for Mr. Bird's dropped letter." Donkey can see their ma, though. He's all "It's okay, she's over there! Now hide underneath my stomach to shield yourselves from the rain (WHY. THEY ARE DUCKS)." "Mr. Donkey, can you see the letter too?" "Well I don't know about that."
CHAPTER FOUR!!! I... didn't get chapter four! I got chapter ELEVEN instead, which is a differently colored version of chapter four.

(I think I put the wheat on the wrong duck, NO WONDER IT WOULDN'T FIT!!)
CHAPTER FIVE!!! The sunrays of summer are getting strong, so Pa put a wheat straw on his head. "Looks like the kids have gone off to look for the letter," says Ma. "Hahaha, are those CHIBIS worried about that letter?" says Pa. "Mr. Bird, and the letter, will probably come back next Spring," says Ma. Ma looks up at the dazzling-looking sky. The cool breeze going across the lake is a summer gift (that sounds kind of Engrish).

CHAPTER SIX!!! The animal kiddies are obsessively searching for the letter that the bird dropped! The lambs even came looking for it on top of a faraway mountain. The sun is setting and some junk. While looking at the sunset, the two of them take a rest, and a red dragonfly sits down on the gray lamb's head. "The dragonfly's resting too, huh," says the white lamb. The three of them watch as the sun goes down. It looks like the grass is waving summer good-bye.

CHAPTER SEVEN!!! HOO-HOO. "Ay Mr. Fox, looks like all the kids are looking for the letter the postman bird dropped." Fox is all "If that's the case, looks like the Squirrel put it away together with his own treasures." Owl tilts his head. "Well if THAT'S the case, then Squirrel must have forgotten where he put it!" Fox says with a smile, "Looks like it turned into a terrible treasure hunt, huh." "REALLY, now." Hoo-hoo. Owl narrows his eyes.

CHAPTER EIGHT!!! In the forest of the dancing leaves, the uribou (can't find this word anywhere, but I guess it might mean boar or wild pig or something since that's what this chapter is about) are walking around. "After all, the squirrel did forget the hiding place." On the mountain of fall, the uribou are talking to themselves while looking for the letter. Um here's a weird sentence... anyway, the uribou notice a mysterious smell of spring. They dig a little hole. The letter is hidden along with some acorns. So the uribou think about what to do with the letter. "How's about it, let's consult Mr. Bear! 'Cause he'll probably kindly tell us."

CHAPTER NINE!!! "Hey ma, in the forest, I got a letter from Uribou-kun." The bearling proudly shows off the letter. "Because it was 'for our forest friends.' But the sender isn't writing." Momma Bear looks at the letter and says, "This is the letter the squirrel dropped and forgot, huh," to the marveling bearling. "That's okay. That's spring's tidings. When we wake up, the bird will once again come for it. That's his job, you know."

CHAPTER TEN!!! "Yaa, good day, Mr. Rabbit, it's cold today too, huh." "Today I [insert strange word here] a lot of nuts, I'm returning." The rabbit smiles. The deer looks up at the snowing sky and says, "It would be nice if Mr. Bird would come soon. He'll have spring's tidings." When spring comes, the bird will once again come from the south. With a breath of spring and a warm wind. The forest puts on white makeup (srsly) and waits quietly for the blooming spring.

CHAPTER ELEVEN!!! Y'know, the IROCHIGAI chapter! In the after-the-rain grasslands, basking in the early summer's sunrays, the grass grows quickly. Um, there's a sound effect here. The goatling ocassionally, with a 'mee,' obsessively eats the delicious grass. The cowling, also while eating grass, talks to the black goat. "Mr. Black Goat, is your friend, Mr. White Goat, doing well?" "Mr. Cow. I don't know. Whatever the case, he's probably sending a letter." Sound effect, while [strange word] grass, the black goat answers.
Um, okay... that was cute and heartwarming and all, but are all Japanese children's stories about talking animals this vague? The plot didn't really go anywhere... OH WELL, IT WAS CUTE AND THAT'S ALL THAT COUNTS!!!

And NOW you simply MUST meet my new SYLVANIANS!!!

I decided that Puppy and Bunny looked cuter with their dresses switched.

As for the boys, they enjoy throwing their pet beetle at the girls because they probably have secret crushes on them.

Nickle: Alas, for I have developed a bad case of blue meazles by carelessly lying around in Ingrid's bag! *glare*

Nickle: Good thing my mailorder replacement arrived!

Nickle: Now listen up sonny, you're gonna take my job as the local jester clown character because having a jester clown with blue meazles would simply be unacceptable.
Replacement: So what'll YOU be doing?

Nickle: Me? Oh I dunno... kick back and relax... maybe play some golf and watch some movies... I'm officially retiring, baby!
Replacement: Oh you're despicable.

I bought this pencil case at the Disney Store JUST for my Sylvanians!! I didn't bother to take a picture of it, but it has a sleepy Miss Bunny plushie attached.

Ridiculous new outfit!

The Disney Store doesn't really have that much of interest, but this rainponchoed Chip plushie was just too cute to pass up.

And this is ALSO cute!!!

In case you didn't know, The Rescuers movies were some of my FAVORITES as a kid, so when I saw Jake here for sale at 100 yen, I had to get him! In the same store, I saw some Mothra figures, so I decided to buy the cutest and SDest of them. And yes, I AM including Near in my 'adorable animal' entry. Um so yeah, truth be told, I've been purposely evading this Near figure since forever, but when I saw for sale, I couldn't shield myself from it any longer! You see, I wanted a complete collection of Near figures (all THREE of them), so now I guess the collection is complete. Even though this particular Near sort of freaks me out. He's all... YELLOW. And he's got this... NOSE.

Speaking of Near, here's a mouse mat!!

Yay Animal Crossing straps!! Redd has the most ADORABLE little Electrode grin. There's also a Celeste available that I didn't get, as well as a Sally that I FORTUNATELY didn't get.

Since my roomsharemate and I love Oofuri so much, we got this DARLING Hello Kitty battery strap set and split it! HOW HEARTWARMING!!! We both suck at throwing, but we figured that I should get the pitcher since I throw stuff to my dog a lot, so it sort of makes sense? I'm sort of in a battery with him, I guess. He's a bit of a lousy catcher though, since he'll just grab the balls and run! The NERVE! Fidel should probably play American football instead.
