So what I think I'm gonna do is do a little introduction post for each Mameshiba character until I have them all covered. All the ones I have toys of, at least! And what better mame to start with than the one we see the most?


EDAMAMESHIBA (GREEN SOYBEAN SHIBA)
"Brimming with curiosity, it likes adventure. It travels the world by using its pod."


It sure DOES travel the world using its pod! The pod is like a transformer.


Possibly my favorite Edamameshiba toy ever. I have another attached to my bag so he can travel the world with me!


The plush strap and big rubber Edamameshiba came from UFO catchers, the squeezy keychain from a gachapon machine, and the beanbag plush from the store.


Being the representer of sorts for the Mameshiba line, it's only natural for Edamameshiba to have gotten several book and movie deals! Here are some of the illustrations from the book "Edamameshiba and the Fridge of Alaska."
