dreamshelfI've been sort of angsty about Animal Crossing ever since a new game came out for the Wii (I DON'T HAVE A WII), but I just decided to pick up my Wild World game after nearly a year of playing other stuff, only to come face to face with...
JAY!! YAY JAY! JAY MOVED IN!!! I've been wanting him to move in since forever just so I could open this figure! He comes with the cutest little bug accessories (Filbert not included, I just thought it was amusing how you could fit an entire neighbor in the tank) even though my Jay is more interested in fossils. Just like Tank... oh Tank...
But yes, Jay is a cutie! I love how his wings are posed like a real bird's.
Bonus WIP, you say?
The whole upper part of his body is done! I sculpted his belt and pouch tonight (his analysis machine is made out of a Pinky Street shopping bag, haha). And yes, I did a really halfassed job on removing the paint from his pants, I was just afraid of spending too much time sniffing acetone. Hope it won't matter too much. I also started rounding off his pants just a little. Epoxy putty will be added to get the right shape later.
