MEMORY LANE

Oh my gosh the Jakks Flareon. It's the most adorable Flareon toy I've ever seen in my entire LIFE and it's making me totally nostalgic about my early Pokemon days. GATHER AROUND, CHILDREN!!!

While my favorite Pokemon DID seem to change every week back when I was 12-14, I do remember a particularly long period where I was completely obsessed with the Fire type. Charmander was my number one favorite, and Flareon was right behind, and I would get into heated arguments on the local message board with the local Water type fans. It was hysterical.

In the little original trainer stories I made up in my head (OH COME ON YOU DID THEM TOO), my trainer's main Pokemon were Charmander and Flareon. The Flareon could talk, and was somewhat of a comic relief character.

And... yeeaahh! That's my story! I don't particularly care about the Fire type anymore, but I've always had a soft spot for Charmander (not its evolutions, I always had a grudge against them - why did CHARMANDER have to evolve on the show while Bulbasaur and Squirtle got to stay the same?!), and although Flareon was somewhat forgotten, I think I may have regained my fondness for it with this figure!

"MY how times change! Back in my day I was always the odd evolution out with no type advantage over the others..."

"But now there are two of you?! AW YEAH."
